The Appalachia 2025 mission trip offers a unique opportunity to connect deeply with the local community through hands-on building and labor projects. You'll also engage in meaningful outreach by helping with food and clothing distributions, in partnership with Clarksville’s YAIPaks organization. Led by our dedicated Team Leader, Deloris Jackson, this experience promises meaningful service and community transformation.

First Team Meeting Required
Meet your team! You will have an opportunity to ask questions regarding the trip. Your Trip Leads will share vital information about your trip, ministry goals, itinerary, etc.

Final Team Meeting - Donated Items Due Required
This meeting will consist of any trip updates, important information given by the Team Leader, and any materials needed to be handed out. T Shirts and Go Bags will be available this day!
Forms
Liability Waiver // Medical Release // Emergency Contact Required
These documents will be handed out at the interest meeting. You will be required to turn this back to your trip leader or Going Global admin before the trip date. Notarization is required for the Liability Waiver/Medical Release. Notary's are usually available at your local bank.
Power of Attorney // Required for Minors Only
Parents/Guardians of Minor traveling with the team, please fill the form out with your Team Lead's information along with the travel dates listed as the start and end of the POA. For more information please contact your trip leaders or Going Global Admin.
Domestic Travel // Legal Release Required
This document will be handed out at the Interest Meeting. The documents MUST be sign and returned.
Requirements
Prerequisites
- Attend all team meetings - Please refer to booklet and email communication for dates, times, and locations.
- Power of Attorney must be signed and notarized for any minors
- Legal Release must be signed by all participants
- Liability Waiver and Medical Release must be signed AND NOTARIZED by all participants
Responsibilities
- The trip will consist of Prayer Team, Food & Clothing Distribution Teams, Labor & Building Project Teams
Restrictions
- All minors not accompanied by a parent/guardian must get prior approval from trip leads before application acceptance
Preparation
- Complete the Online Application and Wait for Approval.
- Print Out Forms Provided (if not received at interest meeting) to be signed and/or notarized.
- Begin Fundraising for your trip.
